Our address is 110 Derby Road, Nottingham, NG1 5FB, U.K. and is located just off Nottingham city centre. The Monster Store is a large retail showroom (including screen used prop store) which allows fans to view and purchase movie merchandise directly in person. We are surrounded by some of the loveliest eclectic shops, galleries, fancy dress / costume hire boutiques, bars and restaurants on this stretch of the Derby Road.

Opening Times

Opening days in the month of January are Friday 13th (wow) 10am until 5.30pm, Saturday 14th 10am until 5pm. Then every Thursday and Friday 10am until 5.30pm and every Saturday 10am until 5pm. We have Store MEGA sales on. Parking By Car

Ample parking is available directly in front of the Store, and at all times on the right hand side of Derby Road (only until 4pm on the left hand side by the Hand and Heart pub). There are parking meters issuing pay and display tickets running at a rate of 80p for 30 minutes, £1.50 for 1 hour and £3 for 2 hours up to 5pm Monday to Saturday. Then it is £1 per hour or £2 per hour between the hours of 5pm and 8pm. If a longer stay is desired, it is suggested to turn left at Canning Circus onto The Ropewalk where the maximum stay is 3 hours. Metered parking bays here and in the immediate surrounding areas are free from 8pm to 8am Monday to Saturday, Sunday charging is 50p per hour 8am till 10am and 5pm till 8pm, £1 per hour 10am till 5pm. The maximum stay is two hours on Derby Road parking meters. In the event of a faulty parking machine the number to call is 0115 915 6655. There are multi-storey car parks for all day parking which are 5 minutes walk away in Talbot Street, NG1 5GG (0115 941 5553), Euro Car Parks, 57 Upper Parliament Street, NG1 6LD (0115 950 4317), Mount Street, NG1 6HG, (0845 050 7080) and a National Car Park on Maid Marian Way, NG1 6AE (0845 050 7080) only exception at 9 minutes walk away.

Buses To The Monster Store

The Monster Store is situated before the top of the hill of Canning Circus on Derby Road, the A52. We can easily be reached from the city centre using Trent Barton buses (numbers 17, 18, 20, 21, 34) and 331 which depart from Friar Lane situated next to "Top Man" / opposite Forbidden Planet International, or using Nottingham City Transport buses (28, 30, 35, 35a, 35b, 37, L3, L7, L10, W3, 76, 77, 77C, 78, 79, L4, L14, L13, 331) from Angel Row outside of the Central Library. Getting off at the Canning Circus bus stops and walking back down Derby Road (towards the city centre), we can be found directly opposite The Hand and Heart Pub and Restaurant and the Hawksley Sports Bar. Walking To The Store

We are 5 minutes walk from Nottingham City Centre (Market Square). Take the Angel Row exit road from Market Square and continue to walk up the hill towards Derby Road / Canning Circus. Heading up the hill passing St Barnabas Cathedral / The Albert Hall on the left hand side and Le Chein Et Moi on the right, we can be found next to The Focus Gallery on the right hand side of Derby Road. Travelling To The Monster Store, Nottingham By Rail

Nottingham being centrally situated is well connected by rail services to all major cities in the United Kingdom. Upon arrival to the main Nottingham Station we are 10 minutes walk (follow signs to the city centre and follow instructions above or follow Maid Marian Way up the hill onto Derby Road), or we are a quick taxi or bus ride away.

There is a Link A.T.M. just across the street (chargeable withdrawals), Budgens has a free cash point and a Royal Bank Of Scotland cash point is 3 minutes walk at the base of Derby Road / Maid Marian Way (free withdrawals).
