The store opened its doors on September 23rd 2009 and is now closed as of 7th April 2012 but our products are all available online through the Monster Company websites (foundation of our business). The store founded as a large retail outlet was spawned from The Monster Company (world wide mail order business began in 2003 to present). Both companies specialise in providing science fiction, fantasy and horror memorabilia from film and television. This includes 1000’s of exciting new and old collectables including screen used movie props, replica film props, collectable toys, pre painted statues, badges, CD film soundtracks, Dvd's, books, promotional items, T-Shirts, model kits, apparel, U.S.A. / Japanese items and many other miscellaneous collectables.

The passion and enthusiasm behind the company, movies and the merchandise associated with it has propelled the continued expansion of its product lines and film knowledge. Today, our mail order business is continually dispatching parcels to countries world wide, servicing the fans of this great market. We trade in discontinued (older stocks), limited editions, exclusive, rarer and elusive movie merchandise. We are able to service a diverse demographic of collectors, market investors, and also supply to the trade (dealers in film memorabilia). We pride ourselves on a brilliant service, excellent conditions of stock and a timely delivery.

The Monster Store is located in a beautiful Grade 2 listed building, the features of which have been embraced by the Monster Merchandise. Our brand new spacious showroom with wide aisles has a dedicated screen used prop store / room and seventeen tall glass cabinet displays, comfortably showcasing a diverse range of items. These include collectible figures, 200 plus film related T-Shirts, pre painted statues, vintage and new Star Wars Lego, DVD’s, Blu-Ray Discs, built and painted model kits, cinema promotional items, vintage books and board games as well as screen used and production made film props from a wide range of movies.

The 3 metre high exterior display windows are covered with heat and U.V. protective film, reducing sun fade on stock, thus keeping items in their best possible condition. The store is on ground floor level allowing disabled access from the street entrance on Derby Road and wide aisles within the store. All this and more in a high quality film playing environment which uses the latest, state of the art Sony Bravia HX 703 HD 200hz television with motion flow complimented by the HT-SS100 Cinema Theatre System and 250GB Playstation 3.

Cash and cheque payments (with associated bank card) are accepted through our store along with all major cards (with the exception of American Express). All credit / debit card details are processed on a GPRS terminal operated by 123Send and transacted by Streamline.

The Monster Company is continually interested in acquiring film and television merchandise from the smallest of items to entire collections and warehouse stocks of memorabilia. Please contact us if you think that you may have pieces for our consideration or have items to trade.
